Whistleblowing at pewag group

Whistleblowing is the act of voicing concerns and disclosing information about wrongdoing within an organization.

pewag group provides an internal system that allows such concerns to be reported confidentially.

 

Who can whistle blow?

Any person with a current or former professional connection to the pewag group or its subsidiaries in the role of:

  • an employee or leased worker
  • an intern or trainee
  • a job applicant
  • a self-employed person
  • a member of its management or supervisory body
  • a supplier or (sub)contractor, including persons working under their supervision
  • a shareholder

 

When can I whistle blow?

If you notice wrongdoing at work, for example:

  • Criminal activity (corruption, money laundering etc.)
  • Violation of human rights (child labour, slavery etc.)
  • Violation of product safety or compliance
  • Damage to the environment (improper disposal of hazardous waste etc.)

Not within the scope of whistleblowing are:

  • Obviously false reports
  • Reports of other violations of law (mobbing etc.)
  • Customer complaints

 

How do I whistle blow?

Please make sure to provide the following information and evidence: what happened, when, where, who was involved.

We will confirm the receipt of your message within 7 days and diligently examine your concerns within 3 months. If your message is not answered within given timelines, you may contact your local national competent authority.

 

Will I be protected?

You are protected by law in case of whistleblowing:

  • Your identity is to be protected as confidential by all involved.
  • Confidentiality, data protection and, if applicable, data secrecy are ensured.
  • Any retaliation (suspension, termination, discrimination, unfair treatment etc.) is strictly prohibited.
